National Hellenic Students Association Convention

In April 2010, then Treasurer Timothy Youtsos attended the annual spring convention of the National Hellenic Students Association (NHSA) which was held in Chicago. The NHSA is an umbrella organization of HSA’s across the USA and Canada, which allows students of Greek heritage to be connected throughout the country and thus coordinate and push forward their interests on a larger scale. Overall the convention was a great success, having attracted very prominent speakers from the greater Chicago area and resulted in Timothy being elected as the NHSA’s regional director for the Pennsylvania-Maryland-Washington DC-Virginia region.
