The JHU HSA Evening & Fundraiser: A great success!

The Johns Hopkins Hellenic Students Association had its 2012 New Year's Evening & Fundraiser on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at the Home of Michael S. Kosmas in Columbia, Maryland.

The event was organized by George Petrocheilos, the President of the HSA, who decided to share his extensive network, bring all prominent Greek-Americans together, and at the same time fundraise for the Organization.

Michael Kosmas was an amazing host, making cocktails and other drinks non-stop. There were also plenty of appetizers prepared by the Acropolis Restaurant in Greektown.

The Hellenic Students Association's of the University of Maryland, Georgetown University, George Washington University, American University and Loyola were well represented as well.

Neil Vranis, the Vice-President of the HSA gave a great speech, which was followed by speeches from George Petrocheilos, Aris Melissaratos, Dean Katherine Newman, Congressman John P. Sarbanes, Congresswoman Helen Delich Bentley, Dep. Mayor Kaliope Parthemos and State Senator Bill Ferguson.
